Support for Applications, Networks and Communications

Provided first-level support (for 2 years) and second-level support (for 2 years), for PC applications in a regional bank's branches and head office. Worked with users and other people in the organization to troubleshoot and resolve problems. This required some visits to branches and head office departments.

Supported a Gas Plant Management System operating at a major gas plant in Alberta. Frequent contact with plant staff. Most support was done remotely using pcAnywhere IV.

Managed personal computers used by the Electrical Engineering group in the Canadian head office of a multinational petroleum company.

Supported a Pump Repair Information System operating in the heavy oil field of a multinational company.

Supported 4 retailers using a point-of-sale and accounting program, including supplying and installing software and hardware upgrades. 3 of these retailers are running LANtastic networks with 2 to 4 computers.

Supported an Operations Reporting System for a market-leading well service company.
