For a regional bank's Branch Systems Group, developed and supported
up to 27 PC applications used in branches and head office
departments.
Completed Year 2000 (Y2K) testing for 10 PC applications,
including inventory of 3rd-party software, initiating requests for
compliance letters, setting up and using "model branch" Windows NT
test network.
Tested and migrated PC applications from DOS and OS/2 to Windows NT,
with changes where needed. Assisted NT conversion staff and users
to resolve problems during conversion.
Developed applications, including all phases from business
requirements through to writing manuals, distribution and support.
Ensured that applications met business needs by working with clients
outside the IT department. Applications: mortgage program
(5 upgrades); loan program (new program plus 3 upgrades);
electronic forms program (5 upgrades); and others.
